Trip Summary
3 nights in Athens

Athens captures the heart of its visitors. It's the capital city, vibrant and exciting, worldly and chic, a city that attacks the senses. It offers art, culture, world-class museums, charming neighborhoods, exceptional food, lively people and glorious ancient gems such as the Acropolis and the iconic Parthenon. This city has it all and we promise you, it won't disappoint.

Explore the Acropolis, Parthenon, Temple of Nike, Hadrian's Gate, National Archaeological Museum, Greek Ancient Art Museum, Byzantine Museum, Temple of Poseidon, The Plaka, Syntagma Square, House of Parliament and so much more!

3 nights in Heraklion (Crete Island)

Founded in 824 AD by Arabic Muslim people, Heraklion is home to the world's only comprehensive collection of Minoan artifacts. It has magnificent fortified walls and several other testimonies to the Venetians' time in power. Heraklion is close to the ruins of the palace of Knossos, which in Minoan times was the biggest center of population on Crete. Home to Crete's largest city, Heraklion, as well as immense ruins scattered throughout the region, this prefecture draws attention from history lovers and young travelers looking for the island's nightlife.

Visit and explore the Minoan Palaces of Knossos and Phaistos, the archaeological site of Gortyn, Heraklion Archaeological Museum, Cretaquarium, Fortress of Koules, the caves of Matala, lovely beaches, charming villages and so much more.

3 nights in Agios Nikolaos (Crete Island)

Agios Nikolaos is the capital of the Lassithi prefecture in Crete. Located on the eastern side of Crete, Lassithi is the least visited region of the island. Although it has some popular places, including Elounda, Sissi, Sitia and Ierapetra, the rest of the region is authentic and removed from mass tourism. The best beach of Lassithi is Vai, an amazing place with impressive palm forests and crystal clear water. Visit the traditional villages in the Plateau of Lassithi, which keep local customs and a calm pace of life. A drive around will bring you to ancient sites and Medieval Castles, such as the Minoan palace of Zakros and the famous island of Spinalonga.

Visit and explore the amazing Lake Voulismeni, Church of Panagia Kera, Chrissi Island, Ierapetra, Spinalonga, Lassithi Plateau, Monastery of Toplou, Minoan Palace of Zakros, beautiful beaches, charming villages and so much more.

Greece

Greece is THE land of ancient sites and architectural treasures: the Acropolis in Athens, the amphitheater of Epidaurus, the reconstructed palace at Knossos, the belly button of the cosmos at Delphi, fallen columns galore on the sacred island of Delos, and frescoed Minoan palaces on Crete. But don't expect a visit there to be a sober study of the ancient world, the Greek propensity for partying dates back to Dionysus. Then there are 1400 islands to explore. Greece is much more than what you were taught at school or the predictable summer image of glorious sunsets and sandy beaches.
