►Everything was perfect. The hotels were unique and convenient to everywhere I needed to go. I was able to change my rental car to a place and time that worked out best for me. I have been using Tripmasters since 2008 and will continue to do so.

►For most part Tripmasters has worked for the several trips we have booked with them. Their customer service was good when I had to call with the exception of a coupe important things. They book the cheapest air tickets available that that are very hard or expensive to change. We booked this far in advance and wanted to upgrade to a better class of seat closer to leaving. When I called airline they told me I had to upgrade through Tripmasters. When I contacted them the price to phrase was higher than just rebooking flight which I ended up doing with no credi for not using original tickets and loosing them altogether. Fine my fault but still out a couple thousand dollars. This was a 21 day trip that went good until we arrived in Zadar and went to check in to room. No one was there to help address was a bakery that didn't know what the hell we were talking about. When I called Tripmasters they gave me the owners number who I had to call to get keys to room above the bakery. The place was a huge disappointment dirty old and unsafe. When I called Tripmasters they told me to work it out with the owner since they booked it through Expedia and couldn't help at all. Owner wouldn't refund just said to bad. We ended up dragging our luggage around town til we found a room for $300.00 per night which was nice but felt that Tripmasters could have gone to bat for us since they were who we booked through. Lost another $400.00. All in all I feel Expedia would have been more helpful had I just booked direct with them. You reallly have no recourse booking through this travel agent. Yes price is ok, not flexible or helpful if you aren't satisfied after original booking. The room they booked us was nothing like what we received. Just book everything yourself so you can have some recourse when things go south. They really fell short on this vacation and if we didn't have the time or money to fix these issues on our own this vacation would have been a disaster. We are older adults who travel often and don't like surprises like this. We will never book through this company again. Save yourself the hassle and book it yourself

►We had a wonderful vacation. Most of our hotels were excellent with the exception of the one at Split (Prima Luce) which was just rooms on the third floor of a mostly closed shopping mall. The other hotels were great (Dubrovnick Palace, Canopy by Hilton at Zagreb, Hotel Paris in Opatija and Mediteran Zadar). All of our tours with the exception of the one to Medjugorge and Mostar were great and the transportation was excellent. The Medjugorge and Mostar tour was not what we were expecting. We thought we were going to have more time in Medjugorge (only had 1 hour) and that did not give us time to do what we wanted to do there. Also the van's A/C was not working and it was about 100 degrees. So the trip back was hell! They could not even open the windows in the van. And the tour company did not care about our situation. One of the passengers almost fainted because of the heat. Everything else was excellent and we had a great time!

►The hotels you recommend need to be vetted more carefully. We stayed in a unsafe, dirty, uncomfortable hotel in Split, Croatia. I had to move to safer accommodation for an additional $200. I have asked for a refund for 2 nights, provided photos and videos of the experience in the horrible hotel and have not heard back from a trip masters representative. ►The hotels were all nice, although the one we stayed at in Zadar was further from the old city than we would have liked, and not quite as nice as the others, however the staff was friendly and helpful. The one surprise that I missed was the car rental - we had booked the car for 5 days, but somehow I missed the fact that the rental cost was not included in the package purchase price as the time I booked. That was a bit of a surprise as it was an additional $400 that I thought was already covered.
