►To travel to Dubrovnik we used Lufthansa air, had a 5 hr layover in Munich (a little too long but was OK). Stayed in City Hotel Dubrovnik (downtown) away from the old town which was a good idea since it was pretty crowded up there. The hotel was clean, convenient to public transportation, staff was helpful. Nice area-restaurants, markets, cafes and bakeries. On to Zagreb by Croatia air. Flights good and on time. Stayed at Hotel Jgerhorn in the downtown area. Great boutique/vintage style hotel. Wonderful staff, very good breakfasts (enough to choose from), walking distance to everything. The only drawback was the hotel had no elevator. Tough to carry heavy suitcases up 2 flights-altho the staff was more than willing to help us. Def would recommend this hotel. From there we took the train to Split. DON'T EVER RECOMMEND TAKING THIS TRAIN!!!!!!!!! It took us 7 hours to get to Split. Soooooo slow! There is no dining car. No adult beverages. Maybe soft drinks and snacks to buy. We found out that a private car is the way to go. 3-4 hrs. Would have been worth it. Once in Split we stayed at the Central Square Hotel. It was located in the old town. Beautiful place! (it had an elevator). Taxis are not able to get you right to the door but it's within walking distance to the 3 taxi stations. Would definite recommend this hotel as well. About a 45 min drive to Split airport from there. Nice airport, small, not confusing. Flights home were on Swiss air. All on time (within minutes). This is my second time using Tripmasters and would definitely use them again. Answered questions, were very helpful. The only downside to this trip was the train from Zagreb to Split.

►Do not recommend the train from the zadurb to split. It is the worst six hours anyone can spend. You can drive it in 3 1/2 hours or take a plane. It takes 40 minutes. Otherwise, the total, triple satisfactory call HUGH is a beautiful country. There is a lot to learn from. The people are very good very friendly and the country is very clean. ►The hotel in Zagreb that was recommended by your agency was not satisfactory. We checked out early and left the city early. I would not recommend that hotel as a tourist destination as it was in the middle of a neighborhood that was not well maintained. We very much felt unwelcomed and like outsiders that were not welcomed. I would not recommend Zagreb as a destination to visit at all. It was a terrible experience. We lost time and money and luckily left because it was a very unsafe experience and situation that your company put us in.

►This is the second time we've used European Destinations...airfares plus hotels were cost effective. Thank you!

►The last hotel, Armoni, in Paris, was a disappointment. The room was very small. I chose it based on pictures, but I would not recommend it. Hotel Eden, in Rovinj, was terrific ! The hotel in Dubrovnic was great, in Zagreb just OK. In Venice, the room was a bit small, but service was great.

►Hotels-Upgrade to Villa Argentina in Dubrovnik was so worth it. Spectacular location, views, service, and food. Requested 3 beds in Zagreb Arcotel...the 3rd bed was a fold out chair! They finally changed us to a room with 3 beds..but was a bit of a hassle. Split Inn Apartments was awesome. Great location, huge suite. Transportation was fine, I wish we were offered the option to take ferries between the cities rather than fly. DO NOT MISS the Plitivice National Park...unreal!
