►The hotel we Booked in Salzburg , The Mayburg, was not close to anything. Had to walk A mile to meet tour and for restaurants.
The Hotel in Zürich, Romantik Hotel Europe, did not have air conditioning. That was very disappointing and uncomfortable. I would suggest you take both of these hotels off your list of recommended hotels

►The only surprises we faced were that three of the hotels we stayed at did not have air conditioning and we stayed there on unusually hot days. We were able to get a fan delivered to the room at those hotels.
I was also surprised to learn that the train tickets did not actually guarantee a seat and the purchasing a reserved seat was an additional charge. We were fortunate to have seats but others on the train had to stand for the entire trip because they arrived after all the seats were taken.

►Our first hotel, Vienna Easy in Munich, was too far away from the train station and excursions. As well as being a disappointment as far as cleanliness. All other accommodations were very nice and located in good proximity to areas of interest and accessibility. The train service was excellent with reservations and seating arrangements. Thank you for making our vacation enjoyable and easily manageable.
