Rhodes is the largest and most popular island of the Dodecanese, with 300 days of sunshine per year. Its Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is among the best-preserved Medieval Towns of Europe with the Street of the Knights, the Palace and Hippocrates Square, strong walls, paved paths and elegant stone mansions.
