►The short time between flights was a pain and caused unneeded stress. Also flying to Chicago then back to buffalo made no sense on the way home

►Overall trip was excellent. I was very disappointed in the inability to change flights in a snowstorm due to how tickets were purchased. If I had purchased them directly we would not have been delayed by a day on our trip. As is we were very lucky to get out. There were options to be had - and TripMaster did not help in that process at all. Otherwise it was an excellent trip.

►All six hotels were excellent and very well located to travel sites and transportation. The breakfasts were all fantastic, No way would I have believed that we would ever go six hotels in a row with that high level of breakfasts. Your paper work and preplanning for our visits made check-in a pleasant experience.

►We had three major issues during our trip;

First we paid for a van to fit 6 people and a wheelchair in Spain yet when we got there we were told that a small vehicle had been requested from you to Hertz. We were forced to pay extra for a vehicle upgrade. We were also only given the option of renting a stick shift van/SUV. We were fortunate that someone in our party knew how to drive a stick shift. Had we not had someone drive a stick shift we would have been without a rental car in Spain.

Because of tripmasters.com mistake we were charged additional amounts for a rental car that we had already requested and paid for.

The second issues was with the hotels. The hotels were great, however at Aetna Barcelona Aparthotel my father was not provided with a wheelchair accessible room. The hotel claimed they only had one accessible room and it was already taken. I made a specific request when we booked to make sure that the hotels and airlines were aware of my 82 year old father`s needs.

I will say that all other hotels were lovely and centrally located.

The last problem that we had was that our return flight was canceled several times, yet no one at tripmasters.com offered to help us find hotel accommodations for the additional three nights we had to stay in Europe.

Our Observations:

Should any issues be found with your car reservation we will be more than happy to file a claim for these instances. However, a claim can only be made on our end if the reservation was made through us. Should this not be the case, we do advise our travelers to file a claim directly with the provider of their choice.
While we are able to process special requests, such as handicap accessible rooms, they are not always guaranteed as they are subject to the hotel`s availability at the time.
Flight schedule changes, delays and cancellations may occur and are, sadly, out of our control. For these instances we strongly recommend for our customers to purchase travel insurance to alleviate some of the stress associated with lost luggage, delayed flights, cancellations, and other unforeseen situations. Filing a claim is very easy, and can be done online or via phone. Claims need to be filed within 90 days of the departure date.
