►Better descriptions of the hotels. The hotel in Naples was not located in a safe area. We were instructed by our cab driver and hotel staff not to leave the hotel at night, and were instructed to wait inside for a cab the early morning we left for the airport. I don?t know if this danger is city wide or just in area of the Star Terminus Hotel.
The hotel in Praiano - Hotel La Perla ... was absolutely wonderful!!!

►I would never stay in Hotel Amalfi again. I would rate it as a 2 star facility. Very small room, poor air conditioning which they would come and turn off as soon as we left the room each day. On our last night the AC unit broke. The staff was not very friendly. They gave us a room with twin beds that where very uncomfortable and you could barely walk around them. Not enough room to put your luggage either. We had reservations for 6 nights. Seems like they would have given us one of there better rooms. Their parking is very limited and they required 12 hour notice to have your car available. The complimentary breakfast is OK but nothing special. The only type eggs they offered were in the shell hard boiled eggs. It's noisy and be ready to climb a lot of stairs. They ask that you leave your room key with them when you leave. I guess that's so they can run and turn off your AC as soon as you have left. Out of the 6 nights we had the room reserved we spent 2 nights in other towns, leaving most of our luggage in the room. If I hadn't already planned for this I would have sought lodging elsewhere. The location is pretty good. I recommend you have them send you photos of the actual room they intend on putting you in prior to any agreement to stay with them. The Town of Amalfi is wonderful.

Our Observations:

We suggest for our customers to book one of our Recommended properties. Our Recommended properties are typically scored at an 85 or above on the site Trustyou, determined by a score from customer reviews and our team, based on location, rating and value. They generally offer a higher standard of accommodation and are more centrally located. These hotels may provide larger accommodations.
The star rating system itself is developed by each country. A 3 star hotel you would find in the US and in Europe would show some distinct variables. This is why we like to use the site TrustYou, to determine how hotels may be viewed by all types of travelers.
Due to the historic nature of most European hotels, accommodations are typically much smaller. In addition, sizing standards are also different to those in the US.
The actual room you will receive is subject to the hotel`s availability at the time. We do post a variety of room type pictures in the Hotel Property Description found during the booking process. To get a greater insight to the accommodations of each property you are interested in, we recommend visiting the hotel`s website, as, typically, pictures are posted of each room type.

►Your website was very helpful in recommending how to structure our trip to the Amalfi Coast, which cities to visit and how to navigate local transportation. All of our transfers went as expected. The hotels and staff were lovely. We enjoyed every moment!

The only hiccup was that our departing flights were cancelled the day before our trip. I immediately contacted Tripmasters for assistance with rebooking, and was told I would receive a return call within the hour. After 5 hours of no response, I called Tripmasters again. Your agent said they had been 'on hold' and would let me know as soon as they could get through to the airlines. When we hung up, I contacted the airlines myself and was able to immediately book flights. By that time, many of the alternative flights had already been filled, but we were able to make selections with longer layovers and a later arrival.
