Trip Summary
3 nights in Istanbul

Istanbul is one of the truly great romantic cities. It's home to a layering of civilization upon civilization, of empire built upon empire. A stroll through this historic city will reveal ancient Roman hippodromes, peristyles, and aqueducts, the greatest excesses of the Byzantine Empire, and the mystique and power of the Ottoman Empire. In this sprawling, continent-spanning city you can walk the streets where crusaders and janissaries once marched; admire mosques that are the most sublime architectural expressions of Islamic piety; peer into the sultan's harem; and hunt for bargains in the Kapali Carsi.

Visit and explore the Ayasofya,Topkapi Palace, Dolmabahce Palace, the Blue Mosque, the Grand Bazaar and the Egyptian Spice Bazaar, Suleymaniye Camii, St. Savior in Chora, the New Mosque, Galata Tower, Taksim Square, the Hippodrome and so much more!

3 nights in Dalaman

Just north of the Turquoise Coast is the quiet town of Dalaman, situated in between the beautiful coastline and the mountains. Beautiful sweetgum trees grow in the Dalaman Valley, feeding from the waters of majestic Dalaman Stream. The mud baths of Dalyan are a well known tourist attraction with visitors coming from Marmaris and Fethiye, and sometimes further, to indulge in the sulphur-rich baths. You'll also want to visit Alexandria train station, accidentally built in Turkey by mistake and meant for Alexandria, Egypt.

Visit and explore the great Dalaman Stream, Alexandria train station, Dalaman Marina, Atlantic Waterpark, Marmaris International Race Week, loggerhead turtles at the Caretta Caretta Festival, and so much more.

3 nights in Antalya

Located on the beautiful Mediterranean coast of southwestern Turkey, Antalya is considered to be 'the capital of Turkish tourism'. The diversity of landscape, ranging from high mountains to sandy beaches, attracts lots of tourists. The area also has an overwhelming number of archaeological wonders. Today the oldest remains in the old town of Antalya date back to Roman rule, but the Muslim Turks and Ottomans that followed have given it a blend of architectural styles.

From Antalya you can take daytrips to the ancient sites of Aspendos, Perge, Phaselis, Manavgat, Side and Termessos - all are located within a distance of 50 miles or less.

Turkey

Apart from Russia, no other country can stake such a proud claim to bridging 'the East and the West' like Turkey, which sits astride two continents. There are more Roman archaeological sites than in all of Italy, and more ancient Greek ruins available for viewing by the public than in Greece. The history from the Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Ottomans, and finally the modern Turkish nation are all on display here, and the Turkish vacation experience can encompass everything from being in the hustle and bustle of a metropolis, to attending a whirling dervish dance ceremony, to sunning yourself on the country's beautiful shores, to climbing mountains and skiing at top resorts, to enjoying an iconic hot-air balloon ride over the Fairy Chimneys of Cappadocia.
