Trip Summary
2 nights in Istanbul

Istanbul is one of the truly great romantic cities. It's home to a layering of civilization upon civilization, of empire built upon empire. A stroll through this historic city will reveal ancient Roman hippodromes, peristyles, and aqueducts, the greatest excesses of the Byzantine Empire, and the mystique and power of the Ottoman Empire. In this sprawling, continent-spanning city you can walk the streets where crusaders and janissaries once marched; admire mosques that are the most sublime architectural expressions of Islamic piety; peer into the sultan's harem; and hunt for bargains in the Kapali Carsi.

Visit and explore the Ayasofya,Topkapi Palace, Dolmabahce Palace, the Blue Mosque, the Grand Bazaar and the Egyptian Spice Bazaar, Suleymaniye Camii, St. Savior in Chora, the New Mosque, Galata Tower, Taksim Square, the Hippodrome and so much more!

2 nights in Canakkale

The small port of Canakkale guards the entire straits of the Dardanelles, and therefore has a major strategic importance. The Dardanelle straight is the stretch of water that separates Europe from Asia and links the Aegean Sea to the south with the Sea of Marmara to the north. Nowadays, many tourists come to Canakkale to visit the World War-I Gallipoli Battlefields, but also the site of ancient Troy located nearby. The 'wooden horse' from the 2004 movie Troy is exhibited on the seafront.

Visit and explore the Military Marine Museum, the great Cimenlik Castle, the Trojan Horse Statue, Museum of Troy, Kilitbahir Castle, Yeni Kordon Beach and so much more.

2 nights in Kusadasi

Situated on the Aegean Sea, Kusadasi, or the 'bird island,' is known for its turquoise sparkling waters, broad sandy beaches, bright sunshine and large marina. Besides the great beaches, there are some interesting historic landmarks such as the ancient ruins of the fortress and its gates, which to this day, are a reminder of the impact the Ottomans had on the city at the beginning of the 15th century. Kusadasi is also an excellent starting point to explore the ancient cities of Miletus and Ephesus.

Visit and discover the amazing Ladies Beach, Kusadasi Castle, Ephesus Archaeological Museum, Library of Celsus, Tortuga Pirate Island Theme Water Park and so much more.

2 nights in Izmir

Nicknamed the 'Pearl of the Aegean,' Izmir is Turkey's third largest city and second largest port. It is a superb city of palm-lined promenades, avenues, and green parks set along a circular bay. The magnificent coastline offers pristine beaches surrounded by olive groves, rocky crags, and pine woods. One of the most impressive landmarks of Izmir harbor is the Clock Tower, a beautiful marble tower 80 feet tall. Its expansive archaeological sites include the Roman Agora of Smyrna, now an open-air museum as well as nine synagogues, concentrated either in the traditional Jewish quarter of Karatas or in Havra Sokak (Synagogue Street) in Kemeralti.

Visit and explore the Izmir Historical Elevator Building, Kulturpark Izmir, Smyrna Agora Ancient City, Ataturk Museum, Izmir Archaeological and Ethnographic Museum, the Clock Tower, Konak Square, and so much more.

Turkey

Apart from Russia, no other country can stake such a proud claim to bridging 'the East and the West' like Turkey, which sits astride two continents. There are more Roman archaeological sites than in all of Italy, and more ancient Greek ruins available for viewing by the public than in Greece. The history from the Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Ottomans, and finally the modern Turkish nation are all on display here, and the Turkish vacation experience can encompass everything from being in the hustle and bustle of a metropolis, to attending a whirling dervish dance ceremony, to sunning yourself on the country's beautiful shores, to climbing mountains and skiing at top resorts, to enjoying an iconic hot-air balloon ride over the Fairy Chimneys of Cappadocia.
