►The connections for transportation went smoothly to and from airports upon arrival and at departure. Unfortunately there were a couple of delays (unavoidable) in transportation for tours one in Athens and the other in Santorini. No communication fron the tour company was made either by text, call or email to inform us. It was quite difficult to try to get a hold of someone at tripmasters as well. The "24" hour 'emergency' number does not work on weekends; eventually we were able to contact both tours. The 2 tours we booked in Santorini were almost the same in stops made during the tours. Each tour stopped at a traditional village for photos, and at the Monistary, and again at the ruins of Akritiri. The second tour had the most important stop we wanted to see the sunset at Oia. I don't know (or remember) if you had just offered just that as a tour; that would have been the better option. The accommodations both in Athens and Santorini were FABULOUS!! The Jason Hotel Inn (Athens) is within walking distance to most attractions (ruin sites) and the view from the Breakfast Café was phenomenal. The Levante Beach Hotel (Santorini) was also wonderful as it is beach front with the Levante bar & restaurant on the beach... To stay in one of the beach lounges you just need to buy food or drinks; plus, you get a 10% discount because you stay at the hotel. Also, a 2 min walking distance to the pick-up points for the tours.
