►Everything was great but Tripmasters should have provided the ferry tickets for all segments of the trip, not just the two segments. It was an inconvenience to research and buy those ferry tickets separately. Aside from that, the trip went very well and the coordination with hotels was great.

►I have been booked by Europeans trips through Trimasters for the last 12 years. with every booking Tripmasters has exceeded my expectations. All city transfers show up on time, even going to the airport at 3:25am on a Sunday. Pompei tour guys were amazing and knowledgeable, and the Capri private boat tour was unforgettable. The boat captain gave us time to sweet in the clear crystal waters. At Amalfi we had dinner at the Sensi Restaurant (Michelin start) located at our Hotel (Residense). what at experience. We are looking forward to book another trip next year. Thank you Tripmaster.

►The booking process was easy. Payment process and communication was seamless. Flights: of course out of your control, but it was not fun traveling internationally and 3 bags were delayed for 2 days, and 1 bag was delayed 4 days. When it came to transfers, I was only informed on one occasion who my driver would be and how to reach that driver. So, needs improvement. Hotel choices, quality, etc was impeccable. As for tours, I am currently requesting a refund for the Sightseeing Hop-On, Hop-Off bus tour: bus was overcrowded so we were forced to sit on the bottom level with local commuters and my family of 4 was unable to "see" any of the sightseeing venues. Overall, a good experience.

►My wife and I just got back from our dream honeymoon. I can honestly say that everything went flawlessly pretty much the entire trip. We had two nights in four different cities along the Amalfi Coast (Amalfi, Sorrento, Capri, Naples - in that order). TripMasters came up with the hotel itinerary for us and I was able to research each location to determine if it was what we were looking for. I think I ended up selecting each of the four hotels myself based on location in each city, amenities at each hotel and other customer reviews.

First Ride from Airport to Amalfi:
We selected to have a private ride from the airport to our first destination. The original package I selected came with a rental car but I figured I was on vacation and I didn't want to deal with the hassle of driving in an area I was unfamiliar with and didn't want to deal with the stress of driving on the CRAZY Amalfi Coastal roads. This was probably the BEST idea of the whole trip. The drive was absolutely insane. I would have lost my mind trying to navigate the extremely narrow roadways. If you decide to make a trip out to the coast do yourself a favor, let a professional do the driving. Not only is it less stressful but you can also soak up all the amazing sights along the way without worrying about driving off a cliff. There was a slight hiccup at the airport getting our driver. We managed to find our name on a sign when we got thru customs but they didn't have a driver ready for us. There seemed to be several people dealing with the same issue at the time. It took about a half hour of waiting before we finally had a driver. It took no extra effort on our part but I do have to admit, after nearly 16 hours of traveling the last thing we wanted to do was wait around a crazy airport with our luggage when we were desperate to get our trip started. It all worked out after that. The driver was nice. He didn't speak any English so he didn't really add anything extra to the trip, but that's okay. It said that it was an hour and 15 minute drive from Naples to Amalfi but it took over two and a half hours. Apparently showing up on a Friday afternoon was a terrible idea. Tons of traffic. The last 4 miles of the drive took over an hour on it's own. Not the drivers fault. Just bad luck. No big deal.

Hotel #1:
Miramalfi Hotel - Amalfi Italy: Absolutely perfect! The hotel was gorgeous. It was really close to the main part of town. Easily walk-able but they also offered a free shuttle. It was by far the best hotel of our trip and a great way to start the trip. Amazing views of the sea and town of Amalfi from every room. The pool area and cliff side "beach" was probably the highlight of the hotel. I would stay here again for sure and would recommend it to everyone. Oh, and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly.

Drive from Amalfi to Sorrento:
Again, see my comments above about hiring someone to drive. Best decision of the trip. Our driver showed up right on time. He was extremely friendly, spoke English very well considering it was not his first language. He pointed out all kinds of interesting things for us to look at on the trip out there and gave us some good recommendations for things to do during the rest of the trip. Really good driver and trip from one town to the other.

Hotel #2:
Continental Hotel - Sorrento Italy: Another amazing hotel. I selected this one because it was very close to the main part of town so we can walk to the square whenever we wanted but it was also close to the docks so we can walk to the ferry when it was time to leave for our next destination. It worked out perfectly. The staff was great, the room was big and clean, the pool area was very relaxing and they had a "lift" (elevator) that would take us down directly to the dock/beach area so we could either go to the beach or get to the ferries very easily. Again, i would definitely stay here again and recommend it to other.

Ferry #1:
I did not book this through TripMasters. We were told that we were on our own to take care of this. It was easy to find online and because our hotel was close to the port it was easy to get to and figure out. The port area gets very hectic so give yourself plenty of time to get there and get situated. Ferry is a great way to travel in this area.

Hotel #3:
Gatto Bianco Hotel - Capri Italy: Another great hotel. It wasn't the easiest place to get to, but it appears on Capri nothing is easy to get to. The location was incredible. It is located right in the middle of all the action. One block walk from the main square and right in the middle of all the shops. We paid to have all of our bags brought up from the port and when we left we paid to have two of them (the heavy ones) brought down. At 14 to 16 euros per bag, per trip, it was totally worth it. Lugging your bags around Capri is not easy to do. Room was clean, staff was helpful and breakfast was delicious. This hotel didn't have any extra frills like a pool or anything but when on Capri I can't say we would have utilized anything like that anyway. Good hotel overall. I would consider staying again for sure.

Ferry #2:
Again, I did not book this thru TripMasters. Since we had our large luggage delivered to the boat it was really easy to manage. We arrived early enough to make sure our bags arrived and once we verified that it was smooth sailing. The boat was large and comfy. It said it was a 50 min ride to Naples from Capri but it didn't seem that long. Nice experience.

Hotel #4:
Grand Oriente Hotel - Naples Italy: Really nice hotel. Definitively the most modern place we stayed in the whole trip. Naples is more of a bustling city than any of the other stops along the way so the modern feel was a nice change of pace. I selected this place because it was a close enough walk from the ports so when we got off the ferry we could walk to our hotel. It was pouring rain when we got to Naples so we had to hang out at the ports for about 30 minutes to wait for it to stop but once it did it was a pretty easy walk (roughly 15 to 20 min and mostly flat). The location seemed to be nice for walking around town. We found a lot of great restaurants to go to at night. Great staff and great rooms. I would stay here again for sure.

We did not book any activities or tours through the TripMasters sight. Honestly I tried to look to see what was offered but struggled to figure out how to add anything to the itinerary. We managed to find plenty to do using other sites and I'll be writing reviews on each of those later (on their respective sites).

We also didn't book our flights thru TripMasters. We had a ton of credit card travel points that we accumulated when paying for our wedding so we used those to book the flights. It was as easy as sending TripMasters our flight itinerary so they could verify everything was timed our properly. They did a great job!

All and all we had an amazing experience. TripMasters really made it easy for me to put together a great itinerary. I most likely would have struggled to do it all on my own so thank you for making it so effortless. I had the 24/7 phone number ready to go if I needed anything but luckily I never did. I will most likely be using your services again in the future and I'll have no hesitation recommending you to my friends and family.
