Trogir
One of the most beautiful cities on the Dalmatian coast, Trogir is a living museum, the best-preserved Romanesque-Gothic complex in Central Europe. Its medieval core, surrounded by walls and comprising a magnificient castle and tower and a series of dwellings and palaces from the Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque periods, is part of the UNESCO World Heritage List of historic sites. One of the most impressive buildings is the Church of St. Lawrence, whose main west portal is a masterpiece by Radovan, and the most significant work of the Romanesque-Gothic style in Croatia.
