DUBLIN HEUSTON TRAIN STATION

Heuston train station is one of the three main train stations serving Dublin and is one of the busiest train stations in Ireland. It opened in 1846 and was originally named Kingsbridge Station. In 1966 it was named for Sean Heuston, one of the leaders of the 1916 Easter Rising. The station was renovated and refurbished between 1998-2005. It primarily serves the south and west of the country, while Connolly station serves the south and the west.
