City Center

Outskirts

Outside the quaint town center of the region`s largest city you may find a modern sprawl of factories, high-rise blocks, and overhead expressway junctions. Being that Tours is a transportation hub, you shouldn’t find a problem getting into the city. Trains run along the river in both directions.

Depending on where you go in the outskirts of Tours you may find some charming vine-growing towns bordered by forest and country landscapes. These areas are generally comprised with a wealth of chateaux`s and manor houses. If you do stay in the outskirts you will want to account for travel time and cost of transportation.
