The Edinburgh Waverley train station is the second-largest station in Great Britain, and the second-busiest in Scotland (after Glasgow Central). It is situated on 25 acres in the city center at Princes Street, between Waverley and North Bridges.

To the Edinburgh Turnhouse airport:
Edinburgh Trams runs a line that connects the airport with Haymarket Station; the tram ride takes approximately 26 minutes and runs every 10 minutes during peak times. From there, you can buy a ticket to Waverley Station. Going the other direction, travel to Haymarket Station on the train and catch a tram to the airport.

Airlink 100 runs between the airport and Waverley Bridge (adjacent to the rail station). There is also a nighttime bus, the N22, which runs strictly between Waverley and the airport. Fares are currently £4.50/£7.50 one-way/return for the Airlink 100, and £3 one-way for the N22.
