Trip Summary
2 nights in Paris

Paris is regarded as one of the most dynamic cities in Europe, and for good reason: the city assaults the senses; demanding to be seen, heard, touched, tasted, and smelled. Gaze at impressive monuments and savor its gourmet cheeses, chocolates, wines, and seafood. Paris is relatively small as capitals go, with many of its major sights and museums within walking distance of each other. A world of discovery awaits in every hidden corner and at all the famous sites, there is so much to explore.

Visit the Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum, Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame Cathedral, Jardin des Tuileries, Latin Quarter, Avenue des Champs Elysees, Musee d'Orsay, Place de la Concorde, Arc de Triomphe and so much more!

2 nights in Trier (Treves)

Founded under Augustus in 16 B.C. Augusta Treverorum Trier became the second Rome. It is Germany's oldest city with buildings and monuments, dating from Roman and later periods. The city is rich not only in art and tradition but also it's one of Germany's largest wine exporters. It is also the birthplace of Karl Marx and a university town with a lively nightlife. Don't miss the `Altstadtfest` when the whole city is one big party with lots of live events, local food, wine and beer.

Visit Porta Nigra, Trier Cathedral, Roman Amphitheater, Trier Imperial Baths, Constantine Basilica, and more!

2 nights in Koblenz

Koblenz has a rich history, starting over 2000 years ago. The city is surrounded by four low-mountain ranges and forms a triangle of the Moselle and Rhine rivers. Directly where Rhine River meets the Moselle River is one of its major landmarks, the so-called German Corner (Deutsches Eck). On top of the hill at the Rhine shore the old fortress Ehrenbreitstein overlooks Koblenz and the German Corner. Strolling around the Old Town feels like walking in an open air museum. The many statues and monuments on the squares around town are evidence of the long history that the city is known for, a must-see for all visitors.

Visit the Church of Our Lady, German Corner (Deutsches Eck), Fortress (Festung) Ehrenbreitstein, Deutschherrenhaus, Koblenz Palace, Deutscher Kaiser, Schängelbrunnen, Görresplatz, Florinsmarkt, Jesuitenplatz, and so much more!

2 nights in Wurzburg

Würzburg the capital of Lower Franconia is one of the loveliest baroque cities in the country and became famous as the center of Franconian wine production. Called "the town of Madonnas" because of the more than 100 statues of its patron saint that adorn the house fronts, it is also the best place to start driving the Romantic Road. A famous landmark of Wurzburg is the mighty fortress Festung Marienberg, from where you get a nice view over the famous sights and the pilgrimage church Käppele, also an idyllic spot on a hill above the town. In spring and summer, the liveliest place in town is the Markt (central marketplace). Here street performers entertain and vendors hawk their wares, ranging from fresh fruit to souvenir trinkets. You can also stroll down the traffic-free Schönbornstrasse, with its modern boutiques and cafes. The wine merchants here will sell you a Bocksbeutel, the emerald-green, narrow-necked wine bottle that's native to the region. It's said that the shape came about because wine-drinking monks found it the easiest to hide under their robes.

Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site - Würzburg Residence, Marienberg Fortress, Würzburg Cathedral, Alte Mainbrücke, Würzburg Market Square, and more!

2 nights in Nuremberg

Nurnberg had suffered a lot of damages during the war but nowadays has regained its vitality and is now a symbol of postwar prosperity. Many of Nurnberg's most important buildings, including some of the finest churches in Germany have been restored. The Altstadt (Old City) is a medieval walled city with large pedestrian walkways. Don't miss the city's churches: Frauenkirche St. Lorenze Kirche and St. Sebaldus Kirche and the Albrecht Durer House where the artist lived for 20 years.

Explore the Imperial Castle of Nuremberg, Old Town, Hauptmarkt, Documentation Center Nazi Party Rally Grounds, Palace of Justice, Natural History Museum, Albrecht Durer`s House, Art Bunker, Churches, and so much more!

2 nights in Frankfurt

Frankfurt is the financial capital of Germany, and for many travelers, the gateway to Europe. A closer look reveals there is much more to offer; from arts, outdoors, and shopping, to historic building and high-rises. Frankfurt has also long been an important center for cultural and tourism activities. Its huge trade fair complex, Messe Frankfurt, hosts important events such as the Frankfurt Book Fair (the world's most important publishing event). The city is known for its exceptional number of fine museums covering art, science, and history.

The Romerberg, Museum District (Museumsufer), The Palm Garden (Palmengarten), St. Bartholomew's Cathedral, The Hauptwache, Goethe House and Museum, The Frankfurt Museum of Modern Art, Zoo Frankfurt, Stadel Museum, and so much more!

Germany

<b>Germany</b>'s landscape is straight from the Fairy tales: castles, deep dark forests and mythical rivers. The German landscapes are extraordinarily diverse, with graceful big-city appeal, small picture-postcard towns, pagan-inspired harvest festivals, a wealth of art and culture, and the perennial pleasures of huge tracts of forest, delightful castles and fine wine and beer. From Charlemagne and the Holy Roman Empire to the rise and fall of the Berlin Wall, no other nation has molded Europe the way Germany has - for better or worse.
France

<b>France</b> remains one of the worlds most talked-about and written-about destinations. Whether the romance of Paris sweeps you off your feet or you fall gently for the relaxed life of Provence, France is a place for lovers, and will leave you spellbound. Paris is undoubtedly one of the world's great cities, with enough monuments, museums, restaurants, theatres and shows to last a lifetime. The northern provinces of Normandy and Brittany are steeped in history while the Loire Valley is world famous for its châteaux. And there is more to explore.
