Please do not book the safari for this package through company Ganzay- Desert Safari with Camel Riding tour it was a horrible experience and almost ruined our entire trip. This company was a complete scam and everything that was supposed to be included with the tour they tried making us pay extra for, and when my husband and I refused to pay extra because it was supposed to be included, we were treated terribly. We were picked up in a dirty rundown minivan that they ended up packing 7 passengers in the van and we spent 2 hours in the van driving around to pick up others before heading out to desert. We ended up first at some kind of overpopulated Fair where we were taken to a guy that was trying to get all of us to pay extra for riding Quad Bikes. None of us wanted to ride Quad bikes so then the bike guy told us we had to wait an hour then for the dune bashing. When we all started to complain the driver just kept saying he wasn't the tour guide, just the driver, which was an absolute lie because he was the only one with us the entire time. After about 30 minutes he convinced another guy to take us for the "30-40" dune bashing in the "deluxe" 4x4 vehicle. It was legit maybe 10 minutes they crammed all 7 of us in this vehicle which was by no means deluxe and had some other company name on it called SANAT Tours. The sand board sliding was a joke it was one board with about 25 people crowded around it trying to get a turn to use it. We watched one couple attempt to go down a small dune and the board stopped halfway down it was an absolute joke that anyone would consider that fun and exciting. Afterwards we had to walk all the way back from the dunes to the minivan-it is ridiculous we had to be transferred as many times as we did in and out of vehicles because a minivan is not a vehicle that can drive in the sand but for a desert safari excursion don't you think you should be picked up in a vehicle more fitting for the excursion?? After driving another 25 minutes to the desert camp AGAIN we were transferred to another vehicle to go through sand. Upon arrival and exiting vehicle we were all immediately bombarded by people trying to sell us crap-head scarves, pictures etc. We were told that the free camel riding was over by 1 camel enclosed in a wire fence with a huge line to ride it, or we could pay extra AED to take another camel that was not in a wire enclosed fenced area. When we went inside we were then told if we wanted to pay extra(50 AED each) for the VIP area we could eat right away, but if we did not pay for the VIP, we had to wait another hour and at 740pm the 600 people that were there would get released to get in line for the buffet:( The Sheesha, henna painting we were all told was extra AED. The only thing we got for free was some tea. So after waiting over an hour in the cold being constantly harassed by people trying to sell us more stuff, they released everyone to eat which was chaotic and crazy. By the time we got up to tables from the long lines there was no chicken left and the only thing we could eat was some rice and noodles. We were told it was a 6 hour tour and it ended up being 8 hours of a completely horrible experience. Please do not use Ganzay for this tour they are a complete scam company and it makes me very sad to know we lost almost an entire day in the beautiful country of Dubai that we cannot get back!!!! I have filed a complaint to trip masters about Ganzay so no one else has to go through what my husband and I did for this excursion

I enjoyed everything on this trip except my Mother's Day "Dinner Cruise". The drive to the location for the "Dinner Cruise" was over an hour away from the main area in Dubai. First thing we noticed as we arrived at the boat was the dim lights concealing the old/dirty surroundings of the boat. Second thing we noticed was the river that the boat was on was filled with garbage so there was a pungent odor in the air. The lower deck had a damp odor and was dark/dimly lit so we decided to go to the upper deck. However, we were restricted from going on the open-air top deck because it was reserved for "Premium Customers" which was contradictory to what Trip Masters had printed on our itinerary. We were seated on the lower deck for over 40 minutes with nothing to do, eat or drink. The server kept passing our table to take care of other guests and we eventually had to ask if we could get something to drink and he gave each of us a small bottle of room temperature water while others received multiple "premium drinks". The boat had no air conditioning, so it was extremely hot. There was no breeze coming from the river and the boat cruised very slowly while other boats passed by. I saw a huge bug (cockroach) in the lower-level bathroom area, so we had to hold off for 2 hours for the boat to return to shore and drive back to a clean restaurant to use bathroom. The dim blue lights and the smell on the boat made us all decide not to go to the buffet, so we had to find a restaurant at 11 pm. When the entertainment started, we had no interest to view it because we were simply hot, hungry and needed to use the bathroom so could not wait for the boat to return to shore. Overall worst experience for a Mother's Day "Dinner Cruise".

Flights and hotel was awesome. As for the Desert Safari Tour and Dhow river cruise, they were both terrible. The food is the worse for both, I felt like I was in a third world country. The staff for the Desert Safari is a total rip off, upgrading camel ride, VIP seating, tying head scarf on arrival and then asking to be paid. Don`t fall for the traps, do a Mariner cruise instead of the River cruise and buy tours through Get Your Guide.
