Skarhult Castle is one of Sweden`s best-preserved Renaissance castles and has shown women`s history exhibitions during the years 2014-2020. There is currently an art break and the castle, the park and the cafe are closed until further notice. The Skarhult castle was owned by famous noble families Brahe and De la Gardie. It was renewed in 1840s when owned by Jules von Schwer. The medieval Skarhult church is located in the castle park. Skarhult`s estate comprises 1,000 hectares of land with historic buildings, waterways, flora and fauna outside Eslov in Skane.
