The Munich hotel was nice but not in a good location for tourists. Far from the historic areas. 25 minute walk or 10 Euro taxi. The hotels in Innsbruck and Salzburg were better. Trains between cities were good. Flights were not great. Uncomfortable and airline food was marginally edible at best. Return flight wasted a day of tourism.

I missed my connecting flight from Tampa to Munich in route to a much anticipated vacation with my father due to weather delays on another airline. After speaking with the airline company about this missed connection, it was apparent that they were not going to help me get another flight to make my trip. Tripmasters spoke to the airline company and secured another flight for me to Munich so that I was able to make the trip. I am very grateful that they were able to get me to my destination. Tripmasters is the BEST! Thank you so much for all your help! We had a wonderful time, I will recommend them to everyone.

Our trip was excellent! A few things I would have changed...
1. The train trip from Cologne to Munich was looooong...why no flight?
2. The flight (layover, really) from Salzburg to Zurich was also long. Why no train?
3. The Bristol Hotel in Zurich is NOT up to your usual standards...it was clean but resembled a dorm room from the 1970?s
All of our other hotels were more than fine...excellent staff, breakfast, and locations!

We had a great trip! Airlines were fine with seats together, so that is nice and important to me. Hotel accommodations were very nice. All tours accepted our vouchers and were as advertised. We had only a couple issues (nothing big), but they could have been avoided.
I would give travelers a heads up on how seats on the trains work. For us it seemed first come first serve. One train ride there was no seat number corresponding to the tickets we had. Fortunately seasoned passengers explained to us to just sit anywhere. Not a big deal, we were just in the dark of how this policy. We liked traveling by train though. It was great to see the countrysides.
We had only 1 hour to make a connection from Venice to Rome. Had we had to go through passport lines like everyone else there is no way we would have made our flight! However when we got off the plane, there was an Alitalia representative there who walked us through the airport, to a special passport check station and then all the way to out departure gate. And helped us get boarding passes printed. Without his help we would have missed our connection without doubt. I don`t know if Tripmasters is responsible for his help or if the airline knew we would not make it, but we are thankful somebody realized we needed help. I had my wife call Tripmasters weeks before our trip to ask if this connection was possible. I had a bad feeling about it being an international flight. Whoever my wife spoke to assured her there would be no problem. It could have been a big headache though. I would suggest more time on those type flights.
Our other hiccup came in Venice. We followed directions to the room assigned to us. Ca Dell Arte - when we arrived there was a note saying we were at the wrong location and should be at Ca Dell Arte Suites. They left a map for us, but it was a pain to walk 15 minutes across so many bridges and through crowds with all our luggage. This was tough and could have been avoided. Once we arrived however the room was very nice. It was like an apartment in a good location. Minor issue too was no shower. But it had a balcony with a view of St Marks bell tower!
We would certainly use Tripmasters again, these are only suggestions for improvement. I love the website and how customizable our vacation was!

Our Observations:
The airlines are the ones that establish the minimum connection time, although our travel packages are fully customizable to fit each traveler`s needs. Our system will choose a default flight option first, which is typically the most cost-effective. However, customers can choose to look into different itinerary options, with longer layovers for instance, amongst other criteria such as airline carriers, departure and arrival times, and number of stopovers. We recommend 2-3 hrs for a layover.
We do track all of our customers` comments in order to better the products and services that we offer, and, in turn, the travel experience that we provide.
We are always striving to personalize or better our services, as we realize there is always room for improvement. Our customers` comments are constantly being reviewed by management to help us find new ways to enhance our travel experience.

We booked hotels in Innsbruck and Berlin, the Weisses Kreuz and Savoy, respectively. Both were terrific - clean helpful staff, great locations and amenities.
We booked air and Inter-City trains with you. Completely Flawless!
This is the second trip we have booked through you. The website is easy to use. Your customer service people are superb. They are knowledgeable and friendly and extremely responsive. Both through chat and your 800 number.
Honestly, I rave about you, both to friends and people we meet while travelling!
