Combine Bucharest (Once known as the `Little Paris` because of its wide, tree-lined boulevards and glorious Belle Époque buildings) with the fabulous Black Sea Coast, to lively resort town of Mamaia (sitting on a thin strip of land between the Black Sea and Lake Siutghiol). Find your own way (we suggest a taxi or the local bus) to Constanta (a city on the shores of the Black Sea, in southeastern Romania). A private transfer will take you to beautiful Varna (known as `The pearl of the Bulgarian Black Sea.` Historically known as Odessos, which grew from a Thracian seaside settlement to a major seaport). Finally, fly to Sofia (one of the oldest capital cities in Europe, originating in the 8th century BC, it is known for its abundance of museums). This is a flexible vacation package. It is located eight miles northeast of Constanta on a narrow barrier island situated between the Black Sea and Lake Siutghiol. The island, five miles in length but just 300 yards wide in some spots, is jam-packed with resorts, bars, cafés, and restaurants. The main street, the Bulevardul Mamaia, runs through the western portion of the island and the beachfront is situated to the east.
