►The check in "special instructions " were not provided to us and made it challenging. For example, there was a "bullock " in the road that we needed a code to by pass to get through to our hotel. The hotel claims they emailed this information. I reviewed and printed all of me emails and never received this information. It made it stressful when driving and trying to maneuver directions etc. More detailed information about how what where and when, etc, to get to the hotel should be provided to the traveler.

►At the beginning of our trip we had to change our plane reservations due to a snow storm in the East Coast and Tripmasters was of no help. American Airlines sent the notice hours before Tripmasters did,, but we had to deal with British Airways because even though we were flying American it was a BA reservation. We spent several hours on the phone with AA, BA and Tripmasters. No one seemed to want to take responsibility or offer much needed help. We did get to Paris only because of our perseverance and quick action. But it was such hard work I might as well have booked this myself and we even thought of cancelling our trip. The Hotel in Paris was fine, I had upgraded it. But then we got to Rouen, and to our dismay the Hotel was in a very bad neighborhood. We felt unsafe and stayed inside the Hotel the first night. The room was appaling, the worst Hotel experience we've ever had. The Rouen Saint Sever. We decided we couldn't stay there another night and left in the morning to go get our car and were met by a demented person outside the front door yelling profanities to the church which was a few steps away. I don't know how that hotel received a 3 star rating, but it doesn't even deserve 2 stars. We left and added another day to the upcoming Brunville Hotel in Bijoux. Which of course we had to pay for. We just took a chance because we didn't know how that was going to be, but it turned out to be a nice hotel in a lovely town. The next stop, Mt. St Michel, we had a lovely room at the Hotel Montgomery. Then came The Campanille Blois Nord, and we thought the first hotel was bad! Oh no, this was worse! A low class motel that the rooms smelled and we could hardly sleep the first night. We were going to leave there also, but they offered us a non-smelling room for the second night. It was a bit better than the first, but not by much. How they have a 3 star rating we do not know. The last night in Paris the Opera Frochot Hotel was also very nice. So, it was an up and down experience. Never knowing what to expect and hoping for the best. The places we visited were beautiful, as all of France is. We have bought packages like this one from other agencies and have never had a complaint. We are very familiar with traveling in Europe and stayed at many different hotels, so I feel like I can judge and compare. The car agency was good. I'm answering your survey and I expect a response from a representative of Tripmasters. As of now, I cannot recommend you or use your services again. To be fair, I have not posted any comments on social media yet, awaiting your response. Thank you.

We do recommend contacting us to make any additional changes in scheduling, as, once voluntary changes are made, further modifications are beyond our control.
We do recommend for our customers to book one of our favorite properties, generally offer a higher standard of accommodation and are more centrally located. Our Favorite properties are typically scored at an 85 or above on the site Trustyou, determined by a score from customer reviews and our team, based on location, rating and value.
The star rating system itself is developed by each country. A 3 star hotel you would find in the US and in Europe would show some distinct variables. This is why we like to use the site TrustYou, to determine how hotels may be viewed by all types of travelers.
Our system will choose a default option first, which is typically the most cost effective, however you may easily browse other options.
We offer high-end and budget-friendly hotels, so as to be able to accommodate all types of travelers.
