Pontevedra is a true gem in Galicia. Enjoy the parks, tree-lined avenues, and walks by the river in the middle of the city and a historic center. Pontevedra is rich in history. Formerly Galicia`s biggest city and an important port, we can`t overlook the fact that Columbus` flagship, the Santa María, was built here.
