►It was difficult to book seats on our flights. The website stated they were unable to be booked. We were using Delta and also Air France through Delta. This may have been why. I had to call customer service for help. It was a lengthy call. He continually reassured me that we could book our seats at checkin time. This is unacceptable to me, since that is only 24 hours before flying. We wanted to sit together and in the seats of our choosing. After much debate, the customer service rep was able to give me the confirmation codes for both Air France and Delta. I then went directly to their websites and was able to book all our seats. It was a hassle, time consuming. It would have been easier to have booked the flights myself. I will use Trip Master again because it was so easy and convenient. Hotels, transfers etc were all top notch and exactly as described.

►We were satisfied with our bookings and the hotels were very nice. We did have one problem in Avignon, We had booked at the Mercure Pont D`Avignon, but when we arrived they could not accommodate us due to a conference that took up extra rooms. They switched us to a comparable quality hotel (Novotel)which had these disadvantages: 1. Construction was ongoing in front of Novotel and barricades were up along the sidewalks and walkway that led to the city center where we wanted to tour. The hotel did not clean up the walkways - they were littered with trash and the pavement was very uneven and it made for an unpleasant trek (we are walkers) from the hotel to the city center. 2. The Novotel was not located in the historic quarter near the historic sites we desired to be near. It was quite a ways away outside the ancient ramparts that surround this historic town. The Mercure staff complemented us with petit dejeuner every day, which we had not paid for through our booking. And they offered free car park (though we did not have a car, although we considered renting one for a day). The Novotel was adjacent to the train station, which was an advantage as we had planned to travel to Nimes by train and to Nice by train.

The Negresco in Nice was very elegant and we were treated very well. We were disappointed that there was no outdoor patio for enjoying our bottle of wine and bread and cheese in the evenings. We had to either go out to the beach and pay for drinks (when we had already purchased our bottle) or sit at the hotel patio which offered extremely overpriced drinks. But nevertheless, we enjoyed the location, the service, the beautiful room.

The rail travel was fine - on time, comfortable, fairly easy to find our way around, etc. We were dismayed to learn there was a stabbing outside the Marseille airport (and subsequent police action) the day we went through the St. Charles station on our way to Nice. Luckily, we were on our way to Nice but the time this occurred. Still, I`m sure the incidents of violence at the St. Charles station must be taken into account for other travelers who contemplate using rail there.

The tourism offices were helpful with maps and information in English. We booked one tour to the Luberon through the office in Avignon.

Our Observations:

Unfortunately, overbooking is common practice in the hotel industry. We, however, do not approve of any changes to your reservation without being notified first and, in turn, notifying our travelers.

►We booked hotels in Bordeaux, Toulouse, Marseille and Nice, all were very nice and well located to explore the area.
We booked train travel between two cities which worked out fine. We also had booked transportation from our hotel in Nice to the Airport through the website, I had called Azure Tour the day prior to leaving and asked to be picked up a little earlier than the stated time, however the driver did not arrive at the earlier time and when we called Azure Tour they did not have record of my phone call.

We do track all of our customers` comments in order to better the products and services that we offer and, in turn, the travel experience that we provide.

►Hotels were well located to places of interest, were clean, and had helpful, pleasant staff.

All airline and train reservations were accurate and connections worked seamlessly.

We were very pleased with all of our booked activities.

Your website and services are exceptional.

This is the second time we have used your services, and each time things went like clockwork.
