Odense
Situated close to Odense Fjord on the Odense River, the city of Odense is the third largest city in Denmark. Saint Canute's Cathedral was formerly connected with the great Benedictine monastery of the same name, and is one of the largest and finest buildings of its kind in Denmark. Aarhus

Aalborg
Founded by the Vikings, Aalborg has developed into one of the busiest trading centers in Denmark and its fourth largest city. Called the 'little Paris of the North,' Alborg has a great atmosphere and a lot of fine old buildings. The 15th century Budolfi Cathedral, dedicated to the English St. Botolph, and the Monastery of the Holy Ghost from 1431, Denmark's oldest social welfare institution, are two of the most impressive historic sights. The old castle Aalborghus Castle (Aalborghus Slot) built in 1550 and some picturesque houses of the 17th century located in the center of the town, are not to be missed.

Billund (Legoland)
The small town of Billund, located in central Jutland, has a big claim to fame - It is the birthplace of LEGO! Founded in 1968, Legoland Billund is the original Legoland Park, and was designed by Lego inventor Ole Kirk. Many of the town's most amazing tourists spots focus on these colorful building blocks.

Dyrehaven (The Deer Park)
The Deer Park, Copenhagen, Dyrehaven in Danish, is home to over 2,000 free-roaming red, fallow and sika deer inside a UNESCO world heritage forest. Some of the oak trees are over 800 years old, but there's more than just nature. Inside the park, there's Bakken, the world's oldest operating amusement park and The Hermitage, a royal hunting lodge constructed in 1736. And it's possible to take a horse-drawn carriage ride or bicycle through the forest. When the trees are bare, you're very likely to spot deer in the distance, and if you're lucky, you might get close to a herd while walking around Dyrehaven. No matter what time of year you visit Dyrehaven, there's always something to see and do.
