Trip Summary
3 nights in Florence

The city of Florence sits nestled among the rolling Tuscan hills, with an unmistakable skyline dominated by the fabulous Duomo. With so much Renaissance art and culture, shopping opportunities, and incredible culinary delights, you will be spoiled for choices in what to do and see in this exciting capital city of Tuscany. Florence's museums, palaces, and churches house some of the greatest artistic treasures in the world.

Visit The Duomo Complex, Church of Santa Croce, The Cathedral, The Uffizi Gallery, Galleria dell'Accademia, Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Vecchio, Pitti Palace, Boboli Gardens and so much more.

2 nights in Genoa

Nestled in the center of the Italian Riviera, Genoa, stretches for several miles from the hills to the coast. It lives up to its reputation as the cultural capital of Europe, a title won in 2004 due to its theaters, museums, restaurants, cafes, shopping centers, and Europe's largest aquarium. The historic center is said to be the largest medieval quarter in Europe, and features a wealth of churches, palaces, and museums. During the time of the Romans, it served as an important maritime center for the empire, and during the Renaissance, it was known as one of the richest cities of Renaissance Europe.

Visit and explore the Aquarium of Genoa, Piazza De Ferrari, Cattedrale di San Lorenzo, Royal Palace Museum, Via Garibaldi, Galata Museo del Mare, D'Albertis Castle and so much more.

2 nights in San Remo

Located just thirty miles from the French border, San Remo offers a wonderful slice of old-fashioned Riviera grandeur. It's high-rise free with luxury villas lined with palm trees, long expansive beaches with cabana filled beach clubs, and a large promenade along the Mediterranean. Beyond the manicured lawns and Belle Epoque hotels is a hidden old town with a maze of twisting lanes and covered alleyways that cascade down the Ligurian hillside. La Pigna, the Pinecone, is the oldest part of the city with gardens and a sanctuary.

Visit and explore the Madonna della Costa Sanctuary (on the hilltop above la Pigna with a beautiful cobblestone mosaic, dating from 1651, that leads the way to the sanctuary), the Gardens of Queen Elena (on top of the hill above La Pigna), the gardens of Villa Zirio, Villa Ormond, Villa Nobeland Palazzo Bellevue, and so much more.

3 nights in Nice (French Riviera)

Nice is the capital of the French Riviera, yet far less glamorous and expensive than Cannes. It's also one of the most ancient cities, having been founded by the Greeks, who called it 'Nike' or Victory. Because of its brilliant sunshine and relaxed living, it has attracted famous artists and writers in the past. Being the best trip base on the Riviera, you can choose to explore the region or lounge in its famous cafes. But the most obvious hangout spot here is the beach. The beach in Nice consists of rocks so wear a pair of good sandals.

Explore the Promenade des Anglais, Musee Matisse, Russian Orthodox Cathedral, Cours Saleya, Castle Hill, Old Town, Place Massena, and so much more!
