►Our trip was not without hiccups. We missed our connection in JFK due to tropical storm Nate. Our bags did not follow us on our new connector, so we were without our belongings for a day. We also missed our first day at our destination due to missing our flight.
However! Tripmasters was great! I called and spoke with a very helpful agent who helped us with our process. I loved the Tripmasters App! I used it all the time looking for items of interest, food, etc. everywhere we went. I loved checking off places we`d seen :)
The Ashburn in London was wonderful. Good sized room, charming, and loved the location! (the bed was hard, though)
The Best Western Star in Paris was in a great location near the Arc de Triumph, but the room was so small you couldn`t open the bathroom or balcony doors all the way as they hit the bed. It was off a small road that seemed more like an ally, but it was clean and good service.
The Hotel Sant Antoni in Barcelona was the most comfortable room we had during our trip. It was a modern style, spacious, and the bed was so comfortable I wanted to bring it home! The only thing it was missing was a tub for soaking feet :)
I booked a horseback riding excursion in Barcelona which I enjoyed very much. A shuttle picked me up at my hotel and dropped me off. The riding instructor, Alex, was REALLY good (with people and horses!) The horses were on the skinny side, but that may be a cultural thing?
