Old Delhi is dominated by the grand bazaar of Chandni Chowk set inside the ancient walls of the sprawling Red Fort. In order to show their hospitality, the city was painted pink, hence Jaipur's nickname `The Pink City`. Jaipur is famous for its Hawa Mahal, or Palace of the Winds. Other noteworthy buildings are Sawai Jai Singh`s observatory, Jantar Mantar, and the Amer Palace.
