►On this trip we booked hotels and transportation. This was a six week trip, with 4 people (2 rooms) for 3 weeks and then 2 people (1 room) for the second 3 weeks. We stayed in 15 different hotels. We were so thankful that we booked through Tripmasters. As you might imagine, the pandemic did have effects on the trip. The first night we arrived in Vilnius, at 2 am, our booked hotel was locked up tight and lights off. We immediately called Tripmasters. We ended up going to an open hotel down the street for the first night and Tripmasters was able to get the closed hotel refunded to us. We booked a new hotel ourselves for the remainder of the stay in that city because we saw one that we wanted to stay in, but Tripmasters was standing by ready to book one for us.

Due to the pandemic, 4 other hotels decided to close and Tripmasters let us know and helped us book new accommodations for each city. They made it so easy, with an email or phone call telling us that our hotel was not available and giving us 2 or 3 options to choose from for a new hotel. We were able to confirm new hotels in a matter of minutes instead of spending who knows how long searching for a new hotel. Our biggest hiccup was the last day. We were required to get covid tests for a return to the USA, and one of our travelers had a false positive. Fortunately, we were able to get them retested and it was negative. Tripmasters was standing by, ready to help us with flight changes and booking additional hotel nights if our traveler needed to stay in quarantine. Without Tripmasters, this trip would have been a real bumpy ride, but they smoothed out the rough edges and we had a wonderful time and enjoyed each city we visited.

I would also like to mention, that we were able to take such a long trip because, our planned trip for the summer of 2020 did not happen. Tripmasters was able to get us over 90% of that trip in credits for this trip. We were so happy to have booked with them last year too. All we had to do was wait for them to get it all sorted out with the venders and apply the credit towards this year.

In all of the hotels, we were only not happy with one, the hotel was fine, but the location kind of sucked. It was in Frankfurt, where we began and then ended our 3 weeks in Germany. We let Tripmasters know that we wanted a new hotel for our last night in Germany, before we flew home, and they got that changed too with no fuss.

This is the 5th trip (4th that we were able to take) we booked with Tripmasters. Not only are they helpful, but also one of the best values. I always compare with other travel sites or booking independently and they are always the most affordable.
