►All of our hotels were wonderful. Clean, friendly service, very accommodating to our needs. Our travel was well booked and we had no problems. The only thing that we didn`t care for was that some of our flights were very late at night. This made it hard to get acclimated to the area when we arrived in the dark and we also had troubles with getting cabs that late in the evening to get us to our new hotel. We would have liked some flights to be earlier in the morning which would also have given us more time to spend at the specific location.

►Two of our hotels were adjacent to hospital emergency rooms. Hotel Retro in Zagreb, even shared a driveway with the hospital. Hotel Meksiko, in Ljubljana, starts on the second floor of a building tucked in the back, but hotel rooms look directly into hospital rooms and vice versa. Also, the lobby entrance is directly to opposite the hospital entrance. While both hotels were okay, this information was not provided in the descriptions.
Also, both hotels had issues with the air conditioner. Neither worked consistently. Sometimes the rooms were unbearably hot.
