►We are going to Europe for two weeks and we wanted expert help so we booked the entire trip through Trip Masters. The whole experience was horrible. Our flights were delayed, our transfers never showed up, we missed a night at one hotel, our train ride was canceled, and we lost our luggage. On each and every incident we called Trip Masters and were provided no help or assistance at all. Every customer service agent told us to either call the airlines, call the transfer company, call the train company, call the hotel, or call the airport. They had no advice or sympathy at all. we just wanted some help or comfort, and received none. We felt since we had paid Trip Masters, they no longer cared about us!!! We will never use them again, and will tell anybody who asks us not to use Trip Masters either. We will also be going to social media to let everybody know what happened to us so others can avoid this bad experience.. It was a once in a lifetime trip that was completely ruined by Trip Masters. ►Airline travel was for the most part very good. Traveling for a week requires a suitcase larger than a carry on, and we packed light in a suitcase slightly larger than a carry on. One thing that was an unsatisfactory surprise was the SAS flight from CPH to MUC. There was a relatively large baggage fee for the flight, of $75 each. OUCH. Did not see that coming.

The Hotel Absalon in Copenhagen (Copenhagen) and Hotel Aloft (Munich) were very nice, excellent hotels. We stayed at Hotel Savoy in Australia and don't recommend it. The bed was about 15" off the floor and the look was very old, everything about the hotel was clumsy and the room not laid out well.

Rail travel went well, but was not as scenic as we expected. Seats were OK but would have preffered perhaps a slight upgrade.

I do appreciate the locations on our Christmas Markets tour and the ease in putting the trip together. I needed to call once during the trip as I could not find the airline record locator for an intermediate flight, which was within the itinerary but I had overlooked it. The help desk was friendly, pleasant and prompt.

This was our second experience with European Destinations and we will use them again.

Our Observations:

baggage fees for regional flights between European countries are becoming an industry standard, much as they have in the US between states. Baggage allowance does vary between airline carriers. We are always working towards having the most accurate information per carrier and in some cases carriers are allowing us to pay the baggage cost ahead of time for a faster easier travel experience. We hope to have more info on this in the next coming months.

Any negative topics related to our hotels will be sent to our Hotel Selection Review Team for further evaluation.

On many of our train routes, we do offer 1st and 2nd class travel. Our agents are very happy to assist our customers with any enquiries they have relating to this.
