The fully-pedestrianized city center buzzes with activity both day and night as a city known equally for its history and its heady nightlife. Diocletian`s Palace is the gem of the Old Town, a pedestrianized zone which includes the beautiful riverwalk called Riva. The dramatic backdrop of mountains bleeds into the sea, giving an atmospheric setting to this stunning city.
