All the major sights are within the old town and can easily be covered by walking.

The bus station is at the end of the park, just before the Old Town, at Sygrou str 8. It is here you may catch the bus to the ancient theater of Epidaurus, the ancient town of Mycenae.

The municipality is providing free bicycles for a day to visitors. The Bicycles are located just in front of the Town Hall, by the KTEL bus station.

You can also rent bicycles in Nafplion and explore the city and surrounding areas which is basically all flat. There are several places to rent bikes in the city center.

You will not need a car to get around the city center, but you can rent a car and use Nafplion as your base to see the Argolis and the rest of the Peloponnese. Car rental places include Hermes Car Rental and Sixt Rent a Car.

Parking: There is a huge, free parking lot just next to the Nafplion port. Not that old town is not fully accessible by car, there are walking areas and stairs leading to areas up in the hill. Part of the hotels don`t have parking lots and can`t be reached without walking up some steps.
