City Center

The center of the city is where the main tourist attractions are situated. The pedestrian zone dominates the city center, with its numerous shops, regular market, a historic cathedral and the famous university complex. This area offers countless bars, breweries and eateries of all varieties making the city center a lively and appealing part of the city. If you want to be a part of the action, we recommend you stay in the heart of the city.

Outskirts

The outskirt hotels are located in different areas outside the city center. These hotels sometimes offer a break from the hustle and bustle of the city center, more value for your money, a quieter spot or maybe more convenience to getting around the Rhine region. Most of the outskirt hotels offered are still close to the city center (generally within walking distance) and within a close proximity to public transportation. We recommend considering your itinerary and how you plan to spend your time to better determine a hotel location (local exploring, sights nearby, hotel amenities, views, etc.). Each hotel provides a detailed description of their location to assist in determining what is best for your hotel needs.
