City Center

The city center of Reims contain the main highlights and is home of the three UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Cathedral Notre Dame de Reims, Basilique St-Rémi , and the Palais du Tau. Within the heart of the city you will also find numerous restaurants, a great deal of monuments, and the main squares: the Place Royale and the Place Cardinal-Lucon. The Rue de Vesle is the main street that crosses the town from southwest to northwest, passing through the Place Royale.

The Pace drouet d`Erlon, the pedestrian only main square, in the city center is packed with lively restaurants and bars, and several attractive statues and fountains. During the summer it is filled with people sitting outside the many cafes enjoying the summer sun, and in December it has a lively and charming Christmas market.

Outskirts

Reims and the surrounding countryside offer numerous ways to enjoy the local champagne. On the outskirts, in the Champagne-Ardenne region, you will be surrounded by beautiful vineyards and many charming towns. Staying outside the city center allows you to discover the north-east region of France dominated by vineyards. Some towns worth highlighting in the region: Epernay, Troyes, Langres, Givet, Chalons-en-Champagne.
