Day 1 in St Tropez

Welcome to St Tropez! Upon arrival, you will go through customs and immigration. Arrive at your hotel, check in and do not give in to jet lag! There is so much for you to see and do.

Begin the afternoon by exploring the harbor area. Once a simple fishing village, today St. Tropez's harbor is filled with magnificent sail regattas and luxurious yachts. Take a relaxing stroll around the marina to admire the boats before settling down for a refreshing drink at one of the many café terraces that surround the water. Enjoy a leisurely lunch and dine on local cuisine while taking in the salty breeze coming from the Mediterranean Sea. After lunch, spend some time soaking up the sun at one of Saint Tropez`s beaches.

Later, change out of your beach attire for an evening on the town! Visit one of St Tropez`s famous restaurants; and if you have the energy after dinner, party like a celebrity at one of its legendary (and regularly star-studded) beach clubs, where you may spot more than one A-lister!

Day 2 in St Tropez

Start your day off early with a celebrity boat tour where you`ll be taken across the bay to see all the designer houses of the rich and famous. Afterwards, visit the old fishing quarter, La Ponche, and have a traditional Mediterranean fish lunch. Explore the little cobblestoned streets and alleys of La Ponche and admire the orange-hued houses all around.

Next, continue to Port Grimaud, the seaside town located just four miles west of St Tropez. Port Grimaud is often referred to as the 'Venice of the South of France,' and it's evident to see why. The town is designed with delightful canals, as well as charming French fishermen`s houses. You`ll find many great shops and bars as you spend your afternoon exploring this quaint port town. Make sure to pay a visit to the beach while here!

As night approaches, head to the city of Saint Maxime where you will find lots of attractions in the summer time. There are markets all along the harbor every night and numerous restaurants and stores that stay open late. You may also catch a fireworks show at the beach if you`re visiting during the summer months.

Day 3 in St Tropez

Begin your day discovering the fascinating history and culture that St Tropez has to offer. Head to the famous Church of Notre Dames de l’Assomption (also referred to as the yellow church), which has been featured in many movies and paintings. From here, visit the home of France`s first modern art museum at Le Musee de l`annonciade.

Alternatively, if you`re here on a Tuesday or Saturday, soak up the St Tropez atmosphere and experience shopping like the locals at the open air market Marche des Lices. A true gem of St Tropez, this market offers all kinds of fresh produce, breads, cheeses and great wines. Prices here are reasonable, which can be a rarity on the Cote d’Azur and certainly in St Tropez.

Spend the rest of your day enjoying the main attraction of St Tropez, the world famous Pampelonne Beach, featuring beautiful white sand and clear blue water. Along the beach, you`ll find many of the famous St Tropez clubs and private beaches. If you`re feeling sporty rent a jet ski, go diving, or try windsurfing! For a more relaxing time, rent a lounge chair and enjoy the afternoon sunbathing, sipping cocktails and eating ice cream.

On your final night in St Tropez, head to Placedes Lices for an authentic meal at one of the many charming restaurants. Don`t forget to get yourself a `La Tarte Tropezienne,` (pastry) before heading to bed.

Additional Days in St Tropez

Should you be able to spend additional days in St Tropez then take a day trip to the resort town of Cannes, well known for glamor, celebrities, and its world-famous Cannes film festival, which attracts celebrities from all over the world. Enjoy shopping at the designer shops on la Croisette or some of the open air markets. Make time during your visit to check out the history and culture this town has to offer such as the Musee National Picasso, the Musee de la Castre, or the Chapelle Bellini. Or check out the turquoise sandy beaches, the area offers a generous range of options.

Alternatively, make your way to the Village Ramatuelle, which lies to the south from St Tropez. Built on a mountain, you can almost envision yourself in the Middle Ages when you walk through the streets here. Take in the picturesque houses and the amazing views from the town, and feel miles away from the bustling St Tropez.
