Colvend Golf Club - 18 holes

Colvend is widely regarded as `Scotland`s friendliest club,` a beautiful parkland course situated on the Solway coastline in an area called the Scottish Riviera. The course was designed by renowned architect Willie Fernie in 1905 with an enjoyable variety of difficulty and an air of quirkiness about it. The lovely rolling countryside of Dumfries & Galloway provides conditioned golfers with a challenging 18 hole course. The club is laid out on a pleasant parkland with mature trees and reasonably flat greenlands, which is always kept in immaculate condition. Each year the Sutherland Chalice is hosted here, open to amateurs with a handicap of 4 or less. Additionally, the club offers a thriving juniors section with coaching available through the Pro Shop. Kirkcudbright Golf Club offers panoramic views over Kirkcudbright (known as the Artists Town), its harbor, and the Dee Estuary from its 18-hole parkland course. Distance control and accuracy are of the utmost importance when playing here as the course covers more acreage than any other in Dumfries & Galloway and the shots are rarely as straightforward as they seem! Lockerbie Golf Course - 18 holes

Founded in 1889 Lockerbie was originally a 9-hole course, designed by legendary James Braid, however the course was expanded with an additional 9 holes within the next century. The parkland style course provides a tough but fair challenge for golfers of all abilities with beautiful views over the Annandale Valley, the Solway, and beyond to the Lake District. Interesting water features and natural contours can make the tree lined course a bit difficult to navigate at times, but in all offers a rewarding experience.

New Galloway features one of the most scenic courses in all Scotland, with incomparable views over Loch Ken and towards the Galloway Hills from its varied landscape.
