Minibuses (marshrutkas) run fixed routes and are a faster alternative but less tourist-friendly. Payment can be accepted onboard in cash or by using the MetroMoney card.

Taxis are easily available in town. Ride-hailing apps such as Bolt and Yandex Go are widely used and more reliable (metered and convenient).

Batumi's central area, such as the boulevard, Old Town, and the seafront, is easily pedestrian-friendly. Walking in this area is the best way to explore and enjoy the city's charm.

Car rentals are beneficial for exploring outside Batumi. Parking in central Batumi is limited and sometimes confusing, so it's not ideal for city use.
