The center of town is fairly compact and it is easy to see the various establishments along the main street in about 15 minutes. The palmeraie around the vicinity of town is tougher to walk, as it is sandy and doesn't always feature sidewalks, but it is a very nice and relaxing experience if you do want to try it out (if you are with a guide, inform them of your movements in case you get lost and help has to be called). The Kasbah Amridil, a major tourist attraction about two miles southwest of Skoura's center, is a joy to explore solo or guided.

Public transportation as it is known in a larger town or city is nonexistent in Skoura, and transport in general isn't much more plentiful. Petits taxis are colored red or beige, the few that do exist here, and can take you to wherever you need to go, although the center of town is an area that can be explored on foot in 15 minutes, tops.
