How is Hatta known for?

What is the weather like?

Hatta, like most of the country, is extremely hot in the summer, however, it can be significantly cooler in the winter. Because of its location in the mountains, Hatta's climate is a few degrees cooler than central Dubai thanks to its higher altitude. While this doesn't make too much of a difference in the summer months, you will feel it's a little less humid.

In winter, the temperature can feel quite different, especially if you're staying in one of the mountaintop locations where the evenings can feel quite cold.

What can I wear in Hatta?

As soon as you're away from the beaches in Dubai, the dress code is a little more conservative. We'd suggest if you are taking part in any of the adventure activities to wear something comfortable and sporty. If you will be swimming or participating in water activities, it would be a courtesy to your other guests to wear something more conservative than a bikini/bathing suit, such as bike shorts and a tank top.

While visiting the cultural sights of parks, we recommend dressing conservatively covering knees and shoulders as a rule of thumb. Something loose and breathable during the day is a great choice, especially if you plan to visit the heritage village and historic sites.

In the winter at nighttime, be sure to have a sweater and warmer clothes, it can get chilly in the mountains.
