By Walking

There is no public transportation, but the city is small and has everything to enjoy within easy walking distance. All the main attractions, restaurants, shops, and the beach are close to each other so you really don't need a car to move around the town.

By Bicycle

Renting a bicycle is a great way to get around Swakopmund. There are several rental shops in town where you can rent bicycles for a day or longer. Cycling along the beachfront promenade or exploring the surrounding dunes on two wheels can be a memorable experience.

By Car

Renting a car gives you the flexibility to explore Swakopmund and its surrounding areas at your own pace. Several car rental agencies operate in town, offering a range of vehicles. Keep in mind that Namibia drives on the left side of the road.
