Kantaoi

The beautiful Kantaoui is a seaside resort located 6 miles from Sousse and 15 miles from Monastir Airport in central Tunisia. This area was specifically developed as a tourist area. It is known for its marina and golf course and is a popular destination for luxury travelers. The area is also home to several restaurants and bars, as well as a casino.

Medina

Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Medina - or traditional walled city center of Sousse - dates back to about 800 AD and is a fabulous example of early Islamic architecture, with a casbah, Great Mosque, and many other sights along its winding streets. Staying in this area allows visitors to immerse themselves in the authentic Tunisian culture. It's a place where you can witness the locals going about their daily lives. You'll encounter traditional music, street performers, and various cultural events. Shopping is also at your fingertips offering markets (souks) selling a wide array of goods, including handmade crafts, textiles, spices, and souvenirs.

Sousse Coast

With soft sand and turquoise blue waters of the Mediterranean, the coastal area of Sousse is just about perfect, including a pretty waterfront to stroll along, boating and water sports to enjoy. The coast is dotted with resorts and hotels, many situated right on the water providing beautiful views of the sea and easy access to the beach. The coast also features scenic promenades great for strolling along with views of the water. These promenades are lined with cafes, restaurants, and shops. You’ll also be within walking distance to nightlife at any of the beach clubs, bars and restaurants offering great entertainment while enjoying the sea breeze.

Tantana

Tantana is a small, charming village located on the coast about 20 minutes north of Sousse. It is known for its pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and rich culture. This is a great area to enjoy the beach. Many of the beach resorts have amenities such as pools, restaurants, and other recreational activities. Overall, Tantana is great for relaxing in the laid-back atmosphere for a peaceful time away from the hustle and bustle.
