City Center

The city of Livingstone, where the bulk of the accommodation, restaurants, nightclubs, etc. are located, is relatively small. It lies close to the famous Victoria Falls (6 miles), making it the perfect base for exploring this natural wonder. The city center retains much of its original charm and rustic merits. Here you'll find accommodations that include luxurious hotels, sophisticated riverside lodges and villas, and more economical bed-and-breakfasts, and backpackers' hostels.

Livingstone has some incredible riverfront lodges along the Zambezi River. Staying on the Zambia side of Victoria Falls is generally considered slightly cheaper than staying in Zimbabwe. That's because the cost of activities, meals, and accommodations are usually a little lower on the Zambian side.

Airport Area

Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula Airport, formerly Livingstone Airport, is the closest airport to Victoria Falls. It is located just 3 miles from the city center.
