The “Fleur de Lave” tram serves the city along 10 miles. Both the historical centers, as well as the major points of interest can all be reached by tram: the Marcel Michelin Sports Center, the Culture Center, the Pierre de Coubertin Nautical Centre, as well as the University Hospital (CHU), the Cézeaux University Center and the La Pardieu TER railway station. The tram operates from 5am to 1am, coming every 6 to 8 minutes.

The urban bus network is organized along two axes - North-south and East-West, serving the city and all municipalities in the Clermont-Ferrand metropolitan area.

By Bike

Bicycles are available for rent around town with the C.VÉLO. The C vélo VLS is a network of around 50 stations and some 500 self-service bikes available 24/7, 365 days/year. Rentals can be for as long as you need, and you can keep the bike with you all thorughout the rental period until returning it. Equipment (padlock, basket) and maintenance are included. Two types of bicycles are available for rent: around a hundred bicycles or e-bikes are ready for use at the C.vélo office. There are bicycle routes in Clermont-Ferrand, maps can be obtained at the visitors center.
