City Center

Staying in the heart of Deauville provides an ideal location within walking distance to restaurants, nightlife, and shopping. The city is small, with a relaxing and high-class vibe. Walk the famous Promenade des Planches right from your hotel, a mile-long boardwalk which runs along its wide beach. The section closest to town is lined with stylish Art Deco bath houses. The city center is also close to the Deauville Poney Club, the Casino Barriere de Deauville, however, it may not be within walking distance depending on your hotels location.

Marina

The Deauville marina is located at the mouth of the Touques, situated in the heart of the city. The marina area features shops, a shipyard, restaurants and hotels. Staying in this area allows you a short walk to the town beaches. Many of these hotels are waterfront and within a short drive to Casino Barriere de Deaville.

A short walk across the Pont des Belges will take you over to Trouville-sur-Mer, a much older town than deauville, with deep fishing roots that go back for centuries. Enjoy strolling the narrow cobbled streets of Trouville where you’ll find unique boutiques, designer shops and great cafes with charming terraces.

Outskirts

Many of the hotels located in the outskirts are still within a short distance to the heart of Deauville and Trouville-sur-Mer. These hotels are typically still within walking distance to the beach and many of the main tourist attractions located within the city center. A few restaurants and shops can typically be found in the surrounding area from your hotel. Staying in the outskirt hotels oftentimes allows visitors a quieter option to the bustling city center. The outskirt hotels also offer a great variety of accommodations.
