NEUM - HOTEL ZONE

Neum Beach

The beachside resort town of Neum is located on the Adriatic coast, the only seaside town in the country of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The small town features 5.6 miles of coastline where hotels, private villas, and other accommodations can be found. A picturesque closed bay shielded by the Peljesac Peninsula protects the town from the strong winds of the open sea, the town was built during Yugoslav times and was a retreat for the communist elite. Neum is a crowded destination in the summer months, it is a cheaper option than the Croatian coastline, and offers tourists a very convenient location. The town is surrounded by steep hills and lined with stone-sandy beaches where several of the larger tourist hotels can be found. There are many rich olive groves and plenty of historical sites to see in the hinterland of Neum. Neum is the second shortest coastline of any country in the world, behind Monaco, an affordable destination and attractive seaside town.
