Trip Summary
3 nights in Edinburgh

Edinburgh has an almost fairy-tale setting and every step is a revelation. Its magnificent architecture shifts from the proud tenements of its medieval Old Town, to the grace and geometric precision of the Georgian New Town. Above it all stands Edinburgh Castle perched high on its volcanic rock looking down on a city where medieval lanes and elegant, sweeping terraces hold over ten centuries of history, mystery, and tradition.

Enjoy the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle, Calton Hill, Palace of Holyroodhouse, Princes Street Gardens, St Giles' Cathedral, Scott Monument and so much more!

2 nights in Windermere

Situated entirely within in the Lake District National Park, Windermere is the largest natural lake in England. It has been one of the country`s most popular places for holidays and summer homes since 1847. For many years, power-boating and water-skiing have been popular activities on the lake. It`s surrounded by mountain peaks and villages, including Bowness-on-Windermere, where The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction has modern displays on the children`s writer. In the north, trails lead to Orrest Head, a hill with views across the lake and the fells beyond, and Holehird Gardens, with their alpines, heathers and shrubs.

Explore Windermere Jetty Museum, The World of Beatrix Potter, White Cross Bay, Wray Castle, Brockhole on Windermere, Blackwell House, Claife Heights, Bowness-on-Windermere, Holehird Gardens, Orrest Head, and so much more!

2 nights in Chester

Founded as a Roman fortress in the 1st century A.D by a Roman legion, Chester is one of the most interesting medieval cities in England. It is also one of the best-preserved walled cities in the country, having two miles of its extensive Roman walls intact. In the old city, the Rows is a shopping district distinguished by 2-level covered arcades and Tudor-style half-timber buildings. A Roman amphitheatre, with ongoing excavations, lies just outside the old city's walls. Numerous pubs and wine bars populate the city, some of which are medieval.

Visit The Chester Cathedral, Chester City Walls, Eastgate Tower, The Grosvenor Museum, Chester Castle, Chester Roman Amphitheatre, Dewa Roman Experience, Cheshire Military Museum, Chester Roman Gardens, Tatton Park, and so much more!

3 nights in London

London offers everything! Iconic landmarks, centuries of history, world-class shopping and achingly cool fashion, arts and food scenes. A 40-minute walk along the South Bank will take you past Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, Tate Modern, Shakespeare's Globe, St Paul's Cathedral and Tower Bridge. There are eight Royal Parks to explore, and over 300 museums and galleries. It is home to 60 Michelin starred restaurants and fantastic street food. The evenings offer from high-end nightclubs of Chelsea and Mayfair to cool clubs in Soho and Camden. As for theatre, London's legendary West End boasts over 40 world-class theatres.

England

American travelers cannot get enough of England, and to this day it consistently ranks in the three most popular European countries in terms of visitors per year. Nearly everyone visits London, one of the world`s most important cities and the epicenter of what was once a vast world empire, but England should definitely be explored in-depth, from the charm of the Cotswolds to the seaside resorts on the English Channel and the Irish Sea to the beautiful landscapes of the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales, and the Westcountry. England is a country where the present day and over a millennia of history routinely intersect.
Scotland

A vacation to the isle of Britain would be incomplete without stopping in Scotland. Edinburgh and Glasgow are some of the most cosmopolitan cities in the United Kingdom, set in an urban landscape with many historic buildings dating from the Victorian era and even earlier, impressive considering Scotland was not spared from the Blitz of World War II. Further afield, rivers flow through beautiful valleys that reach the peaks of the Highlands, an area with its own authentic cultural traditions. Whether you are in mainland Scotland or on one of the offshore islands, this nation offers so many charming experiences for the traveler, from fairytale castles to abbeys in ruins to picturesque villages.
