Both hotels were good. Unfortunately, in London, the Tube strike started right as I got there and ended right as I left. That made getting around the city really difficult as buses were packed, Ubers were surcharging and hard to get, and taxis were also busy. Also, on my first Monday there, I had a tour, and the guide never showed up for the Buckingham Palace changing of the guard and boat tour after I walked an hour and a half to get there. The bike ride around Versailles was OK, but could have been better. It was more riding than most of us expected, and by the time we got to see the palace, it was the end of the day, and everyone was tired. I thought the guide could have done a better job keeping us informed of what the plans were for the trip. Everything else was good, and I enjoyed my bike ride tour of Paris and my trip to the Cottswolds. Both were great tour guides. Overall a really nice trip.

We enjoyed every part of the booked accommodations and travel except for our flights home. We got to the airport 3 hours before our flight and were not able to check in due to how early it was. Once we got to Paris for our connection we were landing as boarding was beginning for the other flight. The shuttle shuffle we experienced was really stressful we barely made our flights. Theres not much you can do from your end but might be something to keep in mind.
