El Quseer (spellings vary) is a fishing town 62.1 miles north of Marsa Alam on the Red Sea Coast of eastern Egypt. Believe it or not, today the city of around 18,000 people is surrounded by coral reefed beaches, and beautiful hotels. This is probably the early stages of this coast becoming another Sharm. It still retains its charm with the locals, and the hotels are impeccable. Most visitors spend their days relaxing on the beach or they also choose from quite a variety of activities offered by the city. Here, the underwater life is very attractive and diverse, with visibility on a calm day about 20 m. As a matter of fact, the diving and snorkelling is excellent as well as very interesting for those who love this kind of sports. Relaxation comes in many forms in this beautiful city.
