Krios

Krios is a lovely beach situated very close to the center of Parikia, a little over a mile away. It is a long sandy beach with crystalline waters that are surrounded by a bay and are well protected from strong summer winds. The beach is well-organized with umbrellas and sundecks and has small taverns that serve food and drinks. You shall find crystal-clear water here and fine white sand and a beautiful view towards the town Parikia and the harbor. (Watch the ferries come and go!). Also offers deck chairs and umbrellas.

You can get there by boat taxi from Parikia's harbor, which doesn't cost much and takes about 5-10 minutes. If you have another means of transportation, drive around the bay, which will only take you five minutes. Some people even like to walk their way around along the waterfront and, although it takes a while, it is a beautiful walk!

Livadia (Blue Bay)

Livadia is named after the part of town in the bay. It is Parikia's main beach, starting within about 700 yards from the harbor and going all around the bay. It is divided into several sections, with and without trees. And everywhere are restaurants, cafes and shops for drinks and meals in-between. On the main beach there are also different cafes with sun beds in front. You don't pay anything for the beds, just buying something to drink or to eat. The food is tasteful and quite cheap.

The 'Blue Bay' is suitable for those who want to stay close to the town or their accommodations (no boat, no drive!)! As Livadia Beach is located close to the campsite of Parikia, it can easily get crowded with young people.

Piperi Beach

Naoussa's main in-town beach located in a small curve embraced by rocks, about 160 feet beneath the main road that leads into the town center. It is within walking distance, approximately 250 yards from Naoussa's fishing port. You can also find yourself a comfortable quiet spot for sunbathing among the rocks. It is small, but nice for swimming and a secret trip for snorkelling. Beautiful view of Naoussa and Naoussa Bay.

Kolimbithres

The beach of Kolimbithres (whose name means swimming pools) is one of the most famous beaches of Paros and is located in the huge bay of Naoussa, or Plastira Bay with a beautiful view towards Naoussa! It is very special due to impressive rock formations that divide the beach into a succession of little sandy coves, which allow you, unless it is high season, to find a private spot of your own. The crystal-clear water is shallow here and ideal for families with little children. You can find some natural shade and umbrellas with deck chairs. The beach has a few Beach Bars and taverns spread out along the road where you will also find enough parking facilities.
Water ski and other activities go on here in the high season. The beach can either be accessed by boat taxi (leaving from Naoussa's fishing port) or if you take the road to Parikia and turn right about 500 yards after leaving the town. Is well marked and the same road that leads to Monastiri Beach and the Aqua Park.

Monastiri

This beach is also very well known and popular especially during the high season. It lies at the end of the bay opposite Naoussa, about a mile past Kolimbithres. It is in a tiny bay enclosed by rocks on both sides with very shallow, pool-like water, with a tavern and music bar above it. A popular spot for private yachts. There is a lot going on here in the summer, including live concerts and organized beach parties.

If you like it quiet, avoid this beach or look for a private, quiet spot nearby. Get there by using the frequent boat taxis from Naoussa's harbor or taking the road that leads to Kolimbithres first.

Langeri

A very quiet, far from the road sandy beach that is difficult to be found as it is not well sign-posted. Not very busy, so good if you like it quiet; no tavern or music bar nearby. Can be reached easiest by boat taxi. Many people go here for nude bathing.

Santa Maria

Santa Maria is located near Naoussa, in Plastira Bay and is a long coastline divided in two soft, golden sandy beaches which offer a beautiful view on the island of Naxos and the crystal emerald waters. The first is commonly known as Santa Maria Camping due to the nearby site. They both face onto Aliki Bay. The second is about a half mile beyond the first and is on the right side of the road. It is a nice bay with good views. The snorkeling here is recommended and there is also a diving school. The first Santa Maria Beach offers an even more beautiful view of Naxos island. The beach is long with some loungers and in the middle you will find the diving and windsurfing center. The water is perfect and clear and the sun drenched sand whiter than you will find on other parts of the island. It is fully organized, with sun beds, umbrellas and water sports facilities for windsurfing, scuba diving, paddle boats, etc. A campsite is located behind the beaches and makes it really crowded during the pick season of July and August.

Go there by car/motorbike or by bus. You can also take the boat taxi but it is a long ride and the boats are not scheduled so frequently, as they have to go once around the north peak of the island.

Ambelas

Ambelas is a small yet lovely fishing village located 8 miles from Paros town and 3 miles from Naoussa. It has a small sandy beach where all the fishing boats come to. Mostly famous for the fishing port and the delicious fish taverns. The water is crystal clear and safe for the children. It is not an organized beach but it is a nice place for those who prefer the tranquil locations. The sea front taverns and the traditional restaurants offer some of the greatest fish food on Paros.

Molos

Near the small village Marmara, you find Molos and a few other sandy beaches that are rarely visited, even during the high season, probably because they are about a mile off the main road. They are beautiful and wide, at some spots a little pebbly, and well worth visiting especially if you like it quiet! The water is deep here, and you have a beautiful view towards Naxos. When the winds are right, it is an ideal place for Wind Surfing if you have your own equipment.

Get there from the main road between Naoussa and Pisso Livadi, but with your own vehicle, as the beaches are far from the bus stop.

Pounda Beach

Pounda Beach is one of the most famous and most crowded beaches of Paros and reminds one of Paradise Beach in Mykonos. It is a fully organized beach located a mile from Logaras (south east of Parikia) and offers a big tourist complex with many interesting facilities such as swimming pools, restaurants, bars, shops, sea sports material, bungee jumping, etc. Most visitors come to Pounda for its beach facilities and for its loud music and endless parties. To get to the beach you have to pass through the bar area with the swimming pool in the middle. If you want to use the loungers then you are expected to buy a drink from one of the bars behind them. The beach itself is quite straight and about 800 feet long.

Go there by bus or car/motorbike. There is a steep hill to overcome from the bus stop, although it is not far.

Golden Beach

The Mecca for Wind Surfers! Golden Beach, located south of Parikia, is considered to be one of the best beaches of Paros. Golden Beach (Chrissi Akti) is a long golden sandy beach extending for 700 yards, famous by windsurfers for its ideal wind conditions. Every August the Professional Windsurfing World Cup is organized on this beach, gathering many windsurfing celebrities. Golden Beach is fully organized offering plenty of windsurf facilities.

You go there easily by bus or with your own vehicle.

New Golden Beach

This long sandy beach is well known as one of the most ideal locations in the Mediterranean for water sports and mostly for wind surfing. It is located 14 miles from Parikia, near the tourist village of Logaras. True to its name, the beach is famous for the golden sand and the crystal water. There are many water sports centers that provide training for all ages. It is very well-organized with umbrellas, sundecks and bars offering food and drink. Along with the closeby Golden beach, it is considered a true paradise for wind surfers and a great swimming location for tourists around the world.

Parasporos

Parasporos is located south of Parikia, next to a campsite, which is the reason why it is often very crowded. It is a large beach with emerald waters and golden sand. A couple of beach bars are available on the beach and organize a few parties during summer time, with dancing and drinking all night long.

Parasporos Beach is reachable by local bus that stops near the beach or by private car as a good paved road leads to it.

Delphini Beach

A small beach with turquoise-colored water and a charming little Beach Bar. Seemingly a Mecca for foreigners living on the island, with live music and barbecue on Sundays.

Easy to be reached by bus from Parikia, not so far on foot either.
