BARCELONA FRANCA TRAIN STATION

The current building for Barcelona Estacio de Franca station was built in 1929 in time for the International Exposition. The station is considered Barcelona's most beautiful station, containing marble, bronze and crystal decorations. The Barcelona Franca station is located east of the city and is within walking distance of the old town and seafront district of Barceloneta. Please note that most trains serving Barcelona utilize the Sants Station, located on the opposite side of the city center.
